Annual Life Drawing Exhibition

Preview: Friday 12 March 2010, 7 – 9pm
Open: Saturday 13 March – Sunday 21 March, 12 – 5pm
Closed: Monday and Tuesday
Venue – Limousine Bull Project Space.

Artists from Limousine Bull Life Drawing Sessions led by Gordon Pirie, exhibit a selection of sketches and drawings from classes held over the past year.

The informal class takes place on Wednesday evenings and has included a number of successful all day sessions during weekends, allowing the artists to thoroughly explore the human figure.

This exhibition represents the progress of class members engaged in a process of investigation through the poses and settings of the figure. The result is a range of output, incorporating a visual dialogue, with each individual’s approach developing week on week. This process is enhanced by reflection and discussion, uniting the group with a breadth of experiences, in addition to signifying drawing as instrumental to thinking.

Come along and view works from a varied group of enthusiastic artists observing the human form through the challenge of drawing.
