Flowing or flowing out. Continuous change. ‘Fluere flux’.
Movement, inconstancy, instability, shift, fluctuation.
Like the rise and fall of high and low tide, but never the same.
This is a moment in time; the blink of an eye.
The places I visit are ever changing too. The things I see: discarded rubbish on the shoreline; the rhythm and surface of objects stacked together; the landscapes of my past, my present and my future. Forever changing. And finding a sure footing on the way.
Limousine Bull Artists Collective will be hosting Anna Geerdes’ short exhibition. She is showing a thought-provoking selection of drawings and paintings, some of which are inspired by the harbour area of Torry.
